Meet Hannah

Hello! My name is Hannah and I am the founder and teacher at Bluebird Montessori. I hold an AMS (American Montessori Society) certification in Early Childhood Education through Hope Montessori Educational Institute and am in the process of earning a secondary credential specializing in infant and toddler development. I have been an educator for 12 years, with 8 years experience in Montessori Early Childhood Education. Using my experience in public, private, and charter school settings, I have crafted an exceptional environment for young children. I am excited to be able to offer the enriching activities of a traditional preschool, as well as the slow pace, care, comfort and attention of a personal caregiver.

My professional statement of belief:

I understand that every child is an individual who deserves to have their whole self be embraced and respected. I believe that every child has value and should have opportunities to participate in our community in a meaningful way, no matter their age.

My role is to nurture children’s interests and skills so they may continue to construct their best selves. My role is to ensure that the children in the program leave with a love of learning, a strong cognitive foundation, and awareness and aptitude to navigate with the world around them.
